The SMCCI Peniaga Pintar Fund (PPF) or Dana Peniaga Pintar (DPP) DPPMS is introduced to help SMCCI members tide over the challenges from COVID- 19, and to push on with transformation efforts in preparation for the economic recovery.
The objective is for SMCCI members to leverage on the available resources to upskill and build capabilities within their business, with the aspiration of becoming a “Smart Businessman” or “Peniaga Pintar”.
Through this Fund, members who wish to enroll in the SMCCI-approved courses and work with SMCCI- appointed consultants, will be able to partially offset their course fee payment through utilisation of the Fund.
- Applicants must be an ACRA-registered company
- Applicants must be a member of SMCCI
- Applicants’ SMCCI membership must be in good standing
- Applicants must agree to the Terms and Conditions imposed by SMCCI
- Funding to be used only for the list of approved-courses on the SMCCI Learning Portal
- Funding only on a reimbursement basis upon receipt and verification of documents
Eligible applicants should also note the following:
- If the course the applicant is making a claim for, is partially supported under other Government support/subsidies such as the Skills Development Fund or the Skillsfuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy, the applicant must ensure that the amount to be claimed should not include the supported amount under these Government programmes.
SMCCI reserves the right to ask for the relevant documentation to assess each claim made from the Fund.
